R&D Roadmap: Accelerating the Comprehensive Localization of High-Speed Data and Power Communication Chips

While winning the top awards, Minisilicon is also advancing at full speed with the testing and validation of its 4x100G LPO/LRO/ASP chipset series (where ASP, or Analog Signal Processor, is Minisilicon's proprietary chipset based on analog CDR technology, designed to replace traditional DSP chips in 400G and 800G optical modules). After taping out in November, the testing is progressing very smoothly, and the chips are expected to be available for customer sampling by the end of this year or early next year. Simultaneously, Minisilicon has begun developing the next-generation 4x200G LPO/LRO/ASP analog electrical transceiver chipset. The development of these products will accelerate the comprehensive localization of high-speed data communication & AI computing power electrical chips in China, break foreign technological monopolies, and enhance China's competitiveness in the high-speed optical communication field.

About Minisilicon

Minisilicon Technology was founded in 2020 as a research-driven high-tech chip design company integrating development, sales, and service. The Minisilicon team consists of seasoned high-tech professionals with overseas backgrounds, originating from Silicon Valley and possessing over 20 years of experience in commercial, optical communication, clocking, and mixed-signal integrated circuit design. As a provider of high-speed electrical chips for data center optical modules, Minisilicon's 4×100G TIA (Transimpedance Amplifier) and 4×100G Driver (Laser Driver) chips are key components for 400G and 800G optical modules in data centers. The company's 4×100G ASP (Analog Signal Processor) chips can be used in 400G and 800G Active Electrical Cables (AECs) for high-speed interconnects within server racks. Additionally, the 4×100G ASP chips can replace traditional DSP chips in 400G and 800G optical modules, offering innovative solutions with lower latency, reduced power consumption, and lower cost for these high-speed modules.

Minisilicon is committed to becoming a world-class enterprise in high-performance optical communication chips and analog chips. By intensifying R&D efforts and accelerating its development pace, the company aims to create more proprietary chips, break foreign monopolies, and contribute to China's high-end analog chip industry.
